Grant Opportunities
From animal welfare to youth services, our charitable funds support a wide variety of causes. Most grants from the Foundation are directed by our generous donors, creating a positive impact on a broad spectrum of charitable causes. Collaboratively working together, many of our funds support our Community Grants program, which focuses on the critical needs in our community. We also have several funds that award grants based on an application process.

Scholarship Opportunities
Charitable funds at the Community Foundation also award scholarships every year to students seeking opportunities in higher education. We have many different scholarship programs established by our donors, each striving to benefit students who have a passion for learning.

Blue Grass Community Foundation is excited to bring a new tool to the nonprofit community. GoodGiving.net is a powerful online database providing a wealth of information about local nonprofits. Empowering and enriching charitable giving in the region, GoodGiving.net will benefit our donors, local nonprofits and the community at large. The database tool provides information about finances, governance and programs of the nonprofits doing extraordinary work in our community.
We encourage your nonprofit organization to take advantage of the enhanced exposure provided by this powerful new tool by completing a nonprofit profile to be included in the database. Share your stories with the community and raise awareness and support for the work that you do. In addition, your organization will be able to accept credit card donations through your GoodGiving.net profile, at no charge to your organization.
